Scholarship
The Hong Kong Society for Quality of life has set up a scholarship scheme for this conference to encourage and facilitate QOL researchers in Hong Kong, Mainland China and South-east Asian countries to present their research findings in the conference.

Amount of Scholarship
Each successful applicant would be granted a scholarship of HK$800 (about US$100). Priority will be given to applicants who have one or more oral paper(s) accepted for presentation in the conference.

Application procedures
Applicant should apply for the scholarship at the same time when they register for the conference. The deadline of application is 28 February 2006.

Payment
Successful applicants have to attend the conference and present the accepted paper. The scholarship will be given to the successful local applicants in cheque, and Mainland China/Asian applicants through bank transfer to their personal bank account. They have to acknowledge reception of the scholarship by signing in a standard form prepared by the HKSoQOL.
