Call for Free Paper
 

You are invited to submit abstracts of free paper to the conference. The free papers will be presented in one of the oral free paper sessions. Oral presentation will be allowed exactly 15 minutes for presentation and discussion/questions.

Author can submit more than one paper. A maximum of 2 papers will be accepted for presentation by the same speaker. The Scientific Program Committee will select the papers according to academic merit.

The abstract should be of maximum 2,000 characters long, including spaces. Two kinds of paper will be accepted: (1) Analytical studies; (2) conceptual papers. The requirements of each types of paper are listed as follows:

Accepted abstracts will be published in the Conference Programme Book.

Requirement on Analytical Studies

Aims: Clearly stated research questions, study objectives, and/or hypothesis.
Methods: Brief description of the research design, study population, setting, procedures for data collection, data completion rates, sample size and methods of analysis.
Results: Description of the key findings.
Conclusions: Provide a concise statement that addresses the question, "What do these results mean for population health, allocation of health care resources, and/or health care policy, in general?" It may include potential implications of the findings and "next step" options or recommendations.

Requirement on Conceptual Papers

Aims: Clearly described purpose of the paper or issue to be discussed.
Methods: A brief description of paper content, including approaches used, institutional, organizational, or theoretical frameworks applied, or development of rationale, should be included.
Results: Briefly summarize resulting policy options or recommendations, institutional or organizational successes/failures, and/or lessons learnt.
Conclusions: Provide a concise statement that addresses the question, "What do these results mean for population health, allocation of health care resources, and/or health care policy, in general?" It may include potential implications of the findings and "next step" options or recommendations.

Method of submission
You may submit abstracts on line from 15 December 2005 to 18 February 2006 at the conference web site.

Acceptance
Submitters will be notified of the result before 13 March, 2006.
